Happy Mother’s Day from the Hawks!This weekend was another big one for our club—and as always, it was powered by the incredible mums who support us in so many ways.From the background heroes doing admin, organising teams, and keeping things running behind the scenes… to the mums on the sidelines coaching, managing, cheering, and even driving all over South-East Queensland—your impact is seen, felt, and deeply appreciated.Our weekend kicked off Friday night with our senior men facing Wests in a tough cup final rematch. It was an arm-wrestle from the start, with both teams trading blows until the 79th minute. Sene stepped up to slot the winning kick—setting the tone for a big weekend ahead!Saturday saw our U6–U9s at the Karana Downs hub, enjoying fun-filled games against UQ, Wests, and Kenmore. Meanwhile, our U12 Girls made the trip to Wynnum for a 7s Gala by the sea, with several players making their debut—an exciting step forward in their rugby journeys.Sunday greeted us with sunshine for the U10 and U12 games before sending our U12g – U16g sides into some classic wet-weather footy at Pine Rivers.Through sunshine, rain, wins, and hard-fought matches, our club is stronger because of the women who make it happen.Player of Day:Under 6 LukaUnder 7 LiebanUnder 8 KennyUnder 9 Oliver CUnder 10 Team!Under 12 BennyUnder 12G Rylee and MiaUnder 14/16G MCSTo all our rugby mums—Happy Mother’s Day. Junior Footy is Back — And What a Start!Hi Hawks Families,We’re off and running — Round 1 has officially kicked off, and what a fantastic weekend of rugby it’s been!Our littlest legends in the Under 6 to Under 9 teams hit the field on Saturday at Toowong, showing off their enthusiasm, teamwork, and plenty of big smiles. It was pure joy to see them in action and having such a great time.Sunday kept the momentum going with our Under 10s, Under 12 Boys, Under 12 Girls, and Under 14 Girls playing across multiple venues. These young athletes gave it everything they had, and we couldn’t be prouder.
