Yvey was a proud Springfield Lakes Hawks junior, captaining our U11 team in 2018 and leading the U12 team to a premiership in 2019 under the guidance of her coaches, Nathan and Pana. Her talent and leadership were evident from the start, and we’re incredibly proud to have been part of her rugby journey. The Hawks family also had the privilege of supporting her through her BJRU representative selection, and it’s amazing to see her hard work and dedication paying off at the elite level.![]()

Yesterday, our Senior Men's Squad hit the field against the Griffith University Knights Rugby Club in a trial match hosted by the Gold Coast Eagles. It was a fantastic opportunity to welcome new players into the team—some experiencing their first taste of rugby—and the squad came together brilliantly!![]()

We also bid farewell to Ma'ole and warmly welcomed Joe, Brandon, Elijah, Stefan, Mikey, Shanon, and Nevada into the club. A huge shoutout to Elliot and assistant coach Keryn for their hard work in getting the lads fighting fit and ready to perform!![]()

There were plenty of exciting moments, with fast, free-flowing rugby on display. The energy, teamwork, and passion were clear, as both new and returning players stepped up and showed what this squad is all about.![]()
